EFL’s ongoing work covers a multitude of topics ranging from issues affecting on a global scale as climate change to managing solid wastes generated in the country. Work on these action areas are further enhanced by EFL’s current projects, which include protecting and conserving important rivers to working with communities on conservation and alternative livelihoods. EFL also believes in educating the public on general environmental rights and responsibilities as well as carrying out campaigns. Current campaigns include Protecting Wilpattu; Snake bite awareness and Protecting our Air.
